Historia
Fall, 1944. Paris has been liberated, saved from destruction, but this diversion on the road to Berlin has given the Germans time to regroup. The American and British armies press on from the west, facing the enemy time and again in the Hurtgen Forest, during the Market-Garden invasion, and at the Battle of the Bulge, all while American general George Patton and British field marshal Bernard Montgomery vie for supremacy as the Allies’ top battlefield commander.

The ending sucked

Great stuff until the afterwords when the author starts talking about modern politics and reveals his ignorance

Historia
Why do people believe bunk? And what causes them to embrace such pseudoscientific beliefs and practices? Noted skeptic Massimo Pigliucci sets out to separate the fact from the fantasy in this entertaining exploration of the nature of science, the borderlands of fringe science, and - borrowing a famous phrase from philosopher Jeremy Bentham - the nonsense on stilts.

no
If you could give Nonsense on Stilts a new subtitle, what would it be?
The truth hurts
Any additional comments?

Boring Journey
Revisado: 08-08-12
Where does Journey to the Center of the Earth: A Signature Performance by Tim Curry rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Tim Curry was probably the best narrator I've encountered on audible.com, the story was itself seemed to drag out with little or no real payoff.
