Historia
The death of Judd Foxman's father marks the first time that the entire Foxman family - including Judd's mother, brothers, and sister - have been together in years. Conspicuously absent: Judd's wife, Jen, whose 14-month affair with Judd's radio-shock-jock boss has recently become painfully public. Judd joins the rest of the Foxmans as they reluctantly submit to their patriarch's dying request: to spend the seven days following the funeral together.

Excellent
Revisado: 11-12-09
I loved this audiobook and couldn't stop listening. The story is laugh-out-loud funny at times, and other times sad and moving. This book reminded me of David Sedaris's writing, if Sedaris were Jewish and wrote fiction. The narrator was excellent as well.

Awful, don't waste your time
Revisado: 11-12-09
The book was boring and predictable, the female narrator was amateurish and the switching between narrator voices was jarring and unpolished. This was easily the worst audiobook I've heard.

Duncan really loves Tucker Crowe, a reclusive Dylanish singer-songwriter who stopped making music 10 years ago. Annie stops loving Duncan, and starts getting her own life. Historia
Two weeks before Christmas, Dr. Diana Duprey is found floating face-up in a small lap pool in her back yard. A medical doctor with an abortion practice, and a national figure who inspired passion and ignited tempers, she had been the target of violent threats by right-to-life activists. Her husband, Frank Thomson, a lawyer in the district attorney's office, fought bitterly with her on the morning of her murder. To reveal the nature of their argument would cost him his career, and more.

Good story - bad narration
Revisado: 05-11-07
I agree with the other reviewers that the narration of this story wasn't well done. The narrator was over the top and annoying, and I almost stopped listening to it a few times even though the story wasn't bad at all.
