Historia
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

Just wow.
Revisado: 04-21-20
I have always been a huge fan of James Taylor and I know he had his demons, but such a sad, yet inspirational story. Add in a number of his songs and this is such a great way to spend 90 minutes. Always loved his music. Now that I know the background on several of them, I’ll never listen to them in the same way. Thanks for sharing your story, James.

The continuation of Echo and Aethon
Revisado: 04-02-20
Glad to read more of these 2, a Guardian and his mate. It’s Echo’s birthday and all she wants is the Aethon she had before she got hurt. His kid gloves are driving her nuts! Georgia Lyn Hunter once again, even in short novella form, packs her stories with punch, heat, and sizzle. Great read.

Historia
It was supposed to be a typical work trip. New York to San Francisco, window seat, exit row. Maybe a mimosa. Then, seat 14B sat down. When our eyes met, the flight became anything but routine. I could pinpoint the moments in my life where everything changed forever. Meeting Jared on that flight was first. Falling in love with him was second. Discovering the secrets he kept was third. Putting my broken self back together and forgetting what I learned would be difficult. Forgiving Jared would be impossible.

Great audiobook
Revisado: 10-22-19
I’ve both read and listened to this book and find this interpretation spot on. Mann’s strong writing makes this a natural for an audiobook and Rose, Erickson, and Clarke bring their characters to life in the tale of love, forgiveness and, in the end, redemption. I highly recommend it.

Psychological Thriller
Revisado: 08-16-19
Overall, I found this a very satisfying “listen”. Aside from the Y2K paranoia of Rick’s wife, which I found superfluous to the story, King did a spot on dissection of the psyche of a serial killer using both the perspective of the killer as well as the detective and the criminal psychologist trying to catch him. The solution to the crimes may have been a bit too easily achieved, but this is the first book in a trilogy so there are plenty of additional mind games ahead. This is not typically a genre I read/listen to, but I’m more than willing to put in the time to read/listen to the other books.
