did they get Linda caredllini to do the voice acting? cause this chick.sounds just like her, maybe if she had the flu. all and all, not so good, predictable and stereotypical. I've read and listened to many of her books, this one lost me. added to DNF.

Historia
Sherwood is a sleepy little town. A town full of friendly faces and even friendlier neighbors. Which is why FBI agent Emma Griffin isn't surprised when her new neighbor starts stopping by to chat. Turns out her neighbor has a dark past and secrets that made her run. As much as Emma wished it wasn’t true, a dark past and secrets are things that she is far too familiar with, especially now more than ever.

I didn't care much for the second or third books. I really enjoyed the first one and this one brought me back in.
the only thing in struggling to understand is why is she wasting time with sam? he has proved to be a dick many times. refused to believe her when she's shown him proof, why bother? familiar face? I dunno, other than that, solid book. the ending was a little popcorn fart but good story throughout.

absolutely no disrespect to the author. I've read other books by her that were good, this one... no.
don't waste your time. I read the first one and I'm a sucker for a sequel or part two, so I decided to give it a try after feeling mixed about the first... all I can say is no. again voice actors were decent, the rest I can't give a positive recrecommendation.

it was alright. I wouldn't say good or bad.
the voice actors stood out to me the most. they did a decent job compared to other audio books I've listened to recently. the story overall was good at points and flat at others.
overall, I couldn't give it a positive review or recommendation.

story wise it wasn't as good as the first one, but I appreciated this narrator a lot more than the ones from the first one.

anticlimactic at best

the narrators seemed to stay very monotone throughout the whole story. I really wish they would hire more narrators instead of having one or two do them all. the story was decent in the way it kept my attention, till the about the middle to the end. it fell very flat to me.

I didn't find it as great and compelling as the first book. the ending was very anticlimactic and seemed rushed to me, however there was some good character development for Emma and I'm excited to see what's next.
