An Interesting World to Explore

This is like a dark coming of age story. We explore a strange, slightly familiar, world with the main character. I highly recommend this book to everyone interested in reading something that is born of a different culture than is typical for modern novels.

Goblin Slayer is a fun, gritty, and memorable, if somewhat controversial, fantasy story. It is well performed with distinct character voices and clear narration. Personally, I like the references the author makes towards the world being an RPG campaign for the gods. The whole thing feels like someone’s game world come to life and I am here for it! If you can get past the first hour you’ll be in for a treat! However, if mentions of sexual assault seriously trouble you then proceed with caution.
