A 6 Star Worthy Epic!

The story kept me intrigued for 30+ hours

It has been a year since I listened and this is one of those books that I will always remember something about. Between the time period it spanned and how a mimicked specie could understand the nuances of so many different human patterns was an interesting concept. How each of the offspring and their respective paths diverted and merged was always eventful. I appreciated the thought and effort put forth in the story and how the conclusion was foreshadowed but not spoiled. I would recommend to those who can follow multiple story lines and time jumps whole hardheartedly.

Interesting premise. Left openings for additional twists for future novels

I thought the books had a unique story line. There were instances that did remind me of old Star Trek episodes where you knew that the new guy with the red shirt in the landing party was destined to meet their end in the episode, but other than that predictability, the story was actively moving forward. A great deal of foreshadowing in the third novel for future stories. After I read the first book, I did not pursue the other books for a while, but with the 3 as a set, they were more enjoyable. Overall a good story

Not my favorite by Joe, but still a good listen

It was a very very long road. I think some parts just drug on. Overall, there were a few areas I just couldn't listen to, the content was not a subject I wanted to have in my brain. The storyline was not super unique but cohesive. It was OK

A good update on the haunted collection gone into the wrong hands. Characters were engaging and it had some nice twists in the story. Narration was great as expected.

What other book might you compare Borgin Keep to and why?
It is similar to the other Berkley Street Series. It does build on what has been introduced in prior books. There are old friends and new ones, so definitely not a repeat, just some familiars.
