Like a fairytale
Revisado: 05-21-15
Bill Meeks' The trials of King Sparrow reads like a fairytale. I really loved reading this novella. There is at least one gruesome scene in this story, but it wouldn't be a Bill Meeks story without it.
If you want to relive your Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Andersen days I would recommend you to read this one.

Awesome adventures of Dogboy
Revisado: 10-04-14
Would you listen to Demon's Dare again? Why?
Nathan doe the book justice. I would listen again just to hear him do all the different voices.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Mr. Horum. I love his matter of a fact approach to his life and how he took Dogboy in.
What does Nathan Beatty bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voices, just amazing.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The dream episode and the start of the Curleyworld Follies story I got a bit confused and it took a little to understand where I was and where we were going.
Any additional comments?
As for Cindy...it is time. She needs to fess up to Dogboy that she too has a power. I am glad that both Bronson and Mr. Horum are suspecting something is up.
I am not sure where I stand with the gruesome stuff yet, but than again, I am a girl and not a 10 year old boy who probably thinks this is the coolest stuff ever.
I am looking forward to read/listen to your next book to see what Bronson will decide and how this team of super hero kids are going to tackle the Mayor.
