Historia
Marco Carrera is 'the hummingbird', a man with the almost supernatural ability to stay still as the world around him continues to change. As he navigates the challenges of life - confronting the death of his sister and the absence of his brother, taking care of his parents, raising his granddaughter, coming to terms with his love for the enigmatic Luisa - Marco Carrera comes to represent the quiet heroism that pervades so much of our everyday existence.

Historia
For more than 20 years, acclaimed author Edward St. Aubyn has chronicled the life of Patrick Melrose, painting an extraordinary portrait of the beleaguered and self-loathing world of privilege. This single volume collects the first four novels Never Mind, Bad News, Some Hope, and Mother's Milk, a Man Booker finalist - to coincide with the publication of At Last, the final installment of this unique novel cycle. By turns harrowing and hilarious, these beautifully written novels dissect the English upper class as we follow Patrick Melrose's story from child abuse to heroin addiction and recovery.

Great narration let down by the writing
Revisado: 01-25-22
Tje facts are real but the style is too predictable and takes out the suspense. An excellent plot but I couldn’t get past half way. The narrator however did his best.
