Awful sound, not possible to understand the words

Extremely disappointing. Horrible sound effects and music drown out the words. Not worth the time or $ and you can't return it.

Dramatic Whisper Narration Irritating & Manipulati

I kept having to turn up the volume & wanting to yell "STOP whispering!" Hard to understand/follow the story when one is straining to hear. He gets even more raspy quiet as death approaches. Found myself thinking; "How low can he go?" I felt he was manipulating the listener like someone telling a ghost story around a campfire. If he had suddenly yelled BOO! my neighbors 3 blocks away would have heard it as my volume was turned up to the max.
I had to stop listening. I will return this book.
I have read many books on dying and nursed my mother at home for years being with her through her final moments. As I approach my own I hoped for more insights. I didn't find anything helpful here.
