Historia
In The Murder of Tut, James Patterson and Martin Dugard chronicle their epic quest to find out what happened to the boy-king. They comb through the evidence--X-rays, Carter's files, forensic clues--and scavenge for overlooked data to piece together the details of his life and death. The result is a true crime tale of intrigue, betrayal, and usurpation that presents a compelling case that King Tut's death was anything but natural.

The Worst, an Absolute Insult to the Listener
Revisado: 11-01-09
Patterson now joins the growing list of authors who find that they can rest on whatever laurels they may have had and can author and get published a book that would be bad if a fifth grader had written it. This book badly plagiarizes a book called "The Egyptian" (available on Audible). This book is an insult. It is so poorly researched and poorly narrated with "hip-hop" expressions not really in vogue 13 centuries before the birth of Christ. I would not buy this book at any price and if I was being paid, would refuse to listen to it.

The best sleeping aide ever
Revisado: 10-17-09
This is not a tongue in cheek review. I'm not kidding,I've taken all sorts of pills to help my insomnia.Listening to this book works better. When I get into bed I just turn this on and I'm asleep in 10 minutes. It is like being in a class you hate and all of a sudden you are asleep.I've stopped taking pills.I will never erase this from my library.

Better than Ambien to fall asleep
Revisado: 06-11-09
If you suffer from insomnia this book is for you. it is boring, too long, the characters are many and insignificant to the plot.the readers monotone adds to he sleep value. For $60 one would think a book should be very good .This one is not .the plot goes from medieval time to modern without letting the listner know where the author is.I would recommend you do not waste your money or a credit on this one. This is a really bad book.

Historia
The Republicans are coming to St. Paul for their convention. Throwing a big party is supposed to be fun, but crashing the party are a few hard cases the police would rather have stayed away. Chief among them is a crew of professional stick-up men who've spotted several lucrative opportunities, ranging from political moneymen with briefcases full of cash to that armored-car warehouse with the weakness in its security system.

Another "Ho Hum" Standford book
Revisado: 05-14-09
If you have read one Standford book, you have read them all. This writer is among those writers which are "commerical" writers, same characters almost the same plot in all his Prey books.and is a genius in putting 'filler' in his books.she was eating a cheese sandwich, he was putting in to a cup, nothing to do with the plot, nothing to do with the characters.only makes the book longer. This book is full of the 'F' word, which gives it no help.Even at $9.95 this should be a pass.I would no waste any money on Standford books. He needs to get some new characters and a realy new plot.

PROBABLY, THE WORST BOOK EVER WRITTEN
Revisado: 04-07-09
TO SAY THAT THIS BOOK IS BAD, OR AWFUL,DOES NOT,DO JUSTICE TO THOSE WORDS.THE PLOT IF YOU CALL IT THAT,IS A PRIVATE EYE, IN A MYTHICAL WORLD,WITH GODESSES,SEEKING THE KILLER OF THE SON OF THE KING ,EVEN THE SPRINKLING OF SEX AND THE "4" LETTER WORD DOES NOT HELP.WHILE I KNOW THIS AUTHOR IS NEW, HE HAD BETTER KEEP HIS DAY JOB.DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.I TRIED THREE TIMES TO LISTEN TO IT AND JUST GAVE UP.IT IS AN EMBARASSMENT AND A INSULT TO THE LISTENER, IT HAS NO REDEEMING QUALITIES AND I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO IF I COULD.
