Wow, just wow. I'm all for spice, but this was disgusting. I couldn't finish this book because of how uncomfortable i was. Kissing cousins on a whole new level.

I expected so much more from this book. I've loved the series since the beginning but after book 2 it's went down hill. I'm beyond disappointed because like many I fell in love with the characters, but it's slowly morphed into a messy plot with zero character development. It became painful to listen to.

Not My favorite

I'm a huge Kate Quinn fan, but this one was one of my least favorites. I felt it was predictable and a tad drawn out at times. The character development to me was lacking and felt it was not as organized/thought out like others from Kate Quinn. The performance was BEAUTIFUL though and Saskia Maarleveld is so talented. She made this book come alive.

This was hard to finish

I absolutely love the Harts Boardwalk series. The character development was strong in every book, but this one fell short. It was hard to finish, and i almost didn't. I waited YEARS for Jack and Emery's story only for it to be a long drawn out story that was more than predictable. I did appreciate that the author tied up some loose ends, but I wanted more from these two characters. This book was a disappointment.

I wanted to love it

I had high expectations for this book, but it hit a flat note. I love the characters, but I wanted more from it all. At times it was drawn out to the point where I couldn't listen for a couple days, and became more and more predictable. I'd still recommend this book for anyone looking, it's a beautiful story, it just got a little boring in the end.

I love Helena Hunting but this audible just isn't for me. It's very slow, and the main character is unbearable.

I don't got you

The overall performance of the book was fantastic. Without the two readers, the book would have been unbearable. The story left me wanting more, and not in a good way. I thought it would get better, and it would go into more depth on the main characters past and experiences, but instead just did a light graze over each characters backstory. Wouldn't suggest this to anyone looking for a easy listen. I had to turn it off after each couple chapters because it was so slow and drawn out.

Cinderella+Snails pace+predictable drama=this book

I LOVE K.A Tucker but this is not her best. The overall story is pretty good but extremely slow and predictable. *Spoiler Alert* I really wanted there to be some type of confrontation with Scott other than just meeting once. She kept her life in a bubble for so long, i really thought there would be some type of climax to the story.

I'd recommend this book for anyone taking a long drive. It's an easy listen and if you zone out for a minute you won't miss much.
