Historia
In 1981, ambitious young Ma Anand Sheela transported the Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh to the United States to fulfill his dream of creating a utopia for his thousands of disciples. Four years later, the incendiary Rajneeshpuram commune in Oregon collapsed under the weight of audacious criminal conspiracies hatched in its inner sanctum, including the largest bioterrorism attack in US history, an unprecedented election fraud scheme, and multiple attempted murders. Rajneeshpuram explores how this extraordinary spiritual community went so wrong.

I can’t say enough about this read, and it’s because I was there, I lived it! It’s so important to take the time to understand how things like this can happen, because they are happening all over the world! People give up their power, their knowingness as a trade for what they consider as something better.
I am going to listen again, Netflix should contact me for an in-depth story of how Bhagwan operated!

Historia
Through extensive interviews with the closest friends, lovers, and relatives of Onassis and the Kennedys, longtime journalist Evans has uncovered the shocking culmination of the Kennedy-Onassis-Kennedy love triangle: Aristotle Onassis was at the heart of the plot to kill Bobby Kennedy. Meticulously tracing Onassis's connections in the world of terrorism, Nemesis presents compelling evidence that he financed the assassination - including a startling confession that has gone unreported for nearly three decades.

Historia
Talking about death and dying is considered taboo in polite company, and even in the medical field. Our ideas about dying are confusing at best: Will our memories flash before our eyes? Regrets consume our thoughts? Does a bright light appear at the end of a tunnel? For most people, it will be a slower process, one eased with preparedness, good humor, and a bit of faith. At the forefront of changing attitudes around palliative care is hospice nurse Hadley Vlahos, who shows that end-of-life care can teach us just as much about how to live as it does about how we die.

I drank up Hadley’s account of being a hospice nurse, I relistened as not to miss anything. She brings a tenderness and wisdom to this very important process.
I always wondered what happened to Max with the Reggie and Lisa story.
This is an important read for understanding life’s meaning.

So touching!
Revisado: 10-08-23
I love her voice and her ability to love. You journey with her as she opens herself up to explore life’s mysteries, that she is called to learn about because of loss.
I liked the feeling of being close to her, this was an extra treat. Towards the end of the book, the last two hours, she reads faster, which I didn’t care for, some of the intimacy was lost.
I discovered this book by accident, and I am blessed to have found it!
You will enjoy it!
