A great ending to a great series

Absolutely love the series, only thing I can say is that it was a bit jarring to have the voice actors switched. The first one was a bit more expressive. Enchanting in a way. But honestly love the series. Thank you. I hope you write more about sirens. Definitely buy it!

Truly wonderful and since your story

I don’t usually write reviews but this one really deserved itThe story is really good, after all of the mermaid stories I’ve listened to on audible this is by far my favorite. And I greatly appreciate the little extras the author gives at the end of the book so that we can learn more about the ocean and how we can protect it. It’s clear to see she’s so sincere and passionate with her works and desires to protect the sea. I can’t wait to read the rest of her works.

Fascinating, but not for the obvious reason

Less about a shark and more about a marriage.

I was really surprised. I kind of felt like the book didn’t focus on the shark as much as you would expect it to. Like the Book couldn’t quite make up its mind if it wanted to be horror or lusty. The book really dealt more with issues like aging, insecurities that come with that, Financial restraints, and regret. Like I said it was less about the shark and more about ab lust, pride, and marriage. Also be prepared for it to be less than PC. The way they reference African-Americans and women was pretty shocking. I knocked a star off because I just wanted this to be more about a shark.
Overall still worth a listen and I found the narrators voice quite comforting.

accents getting better & love is in the air.

story becoming a lot more engaging - not as slow. characters finally getting some action and developing debt.
and the accents are starting to feel less ridiculous . I'm a mix of 3 of the main mermaids ethnicities and the struggle was real lol.

it felt like it ended to abruptly. the volume difference between the 2 actors was irksome. but there perfomances themselves were fine. the mans voice was more engaging. my mind wonders more with hers and I had to keep going back...even though I liked the sound of her voice alot.
