Historia
Have you ever felt stuck in a cycle of unresolved pain, playing offenses over and over in your mind? You know you can't go on like this, but you don't know what to do next. Lysa TerKeurst has wrestled through this journey. But in surprising ways, she’s discovered how to let go of bound-up resentment and overcome the resistance to forgiving people who aren’t willing to make things right. With deep empathy, therapeutic insight, and rich Bible teaching coming out of more than 1,000 hours of theological study, Lysa will help you stop suffering because of what other people have done to you.

This book comforted me in ways I didn’t know I needed. It’s good to know that I’m not the only ones with these questions and doubts. Thank you.

Historia
On March 11, 2003, in Brownsville, Texas - one of America's poorest cities - John Allen Rubio and Angela Camacho murdered their three young children. The apartment building in which the brutal crimes took place was already run down, and in their aftermath a consensus developed in the community that it should be destroyed. It was a place, neighbors felt, that was plagued by spiritual cancer.

Heartbreaking
Revisado: 10-23-19
I cried. I got a headache. I had an anxiety attack. How??? How could they do this to these babies. My heart broke for these two parents who are mentally disabled and no one cared to help them. Growing up no one nurtured and loved them. No one helped them become successful adults with special needs. Their parents failed them. Which in turn lead them down the wrong path and they ended up murders. This is NOT an excuse for with they did. These murders are horrible. I cried for the babies back then and I cried more while reading this book because this time I had details of how they suffered. The sentences the parents got are appropriate for their crimes. I just wish someone would have loved them enough to make sure they had a good life along with their beautiful babies.

Amazing!

This book has so many lessons. Not only for our youth but for adults as well. I’m so thankful my teenage son and I got to read this together. Mental health is not talked about enough to our youth. They are our future! This should be mandatory for all schools across the world!
