Unlike the chronicles of Narnia, this book has foul language and adult themes from the start. I don’t know how the description can even legally mention CS Lewis—let alone relate the two books. A very poor comparison indeed.

I was looking for a clean romance. Might be cleanish. Didn’t stick around after the swearing and finally had it with underaged drinking. Too bad. I wish audible and kindle would rate books with a “C” for CLEAN

I don’t think a girl of her status would have been as bold as she was, nor do I think there would have been the free communication that was used between the main couple, but it was an interesting read all the same. Didn’t love the narration, but it was tolerable. Despite my comments, I did enjoy the book.

I wish they would rate books like they do movies. Then I wouldn't have to waste my time. I was 4 chapters in enjoying this story when suddenly in the 5th chapter it turns to a trashy romance novel. I like CLEAN novels. Books like this with pornographic content should be labeled as such. If you like porn or trashy romance novels then you will probably like this book. Sadly, I'll never know what happened as I will not continue to read the rest.
