You’ll hate this if you love Rapp,Gray Man, etc

I am a woman and I love a great special ops story. I enjoy insights into all of the things you’d expect a special operator to be thinking about including girls, guns, tactics…this book is soooo far down the non pc line though that I couldn’t even listen past chapter 5. References to sexual orientation made in such a degrading way, women obviously all fawning stupidly over this guy, constantly going on about how white he was vs his name…. Boring story, very very disappointing, over engineered story writing failure.

Well, it’s no Mitch Rapp but it isn’t bad and book 2 might be worth a listen. The narrator got better as the book went on. The editing, however as others have mentioned was terrible.

Wow really enjoyed this immersive experience!

I admit it took me a couple of chapters to get used to this new format. I have listened to over 300 audiobooks including the entire Gray Man , Mitch Rapp, Luke Stone, Zero, series and many others along the same lines. This was really excellent. The only part I don’t like is now I really want to find more in this format to listen to! Great narrators and awesome story line and action. Thanks Audible! Do more!

Listened to them all but this one was a disappointment primarily due to the poor voices of Scott Sowers (sorry Scott!)

I might even like these books a bit better than the Rapp and Gentry books, they move more quickly and more twists. Ray Ward is excellent too. Fabulous!!!
