Interesting characters

I liked this book. Even though it started with the murder, there is mystery in it. How do two “normal” families get the point of killing?
There was too much sex and I wish we heard more from Theresa and Jackie. But the story kept me engaged and offered interesting commentary on the expectations of women.

Delicious performance and story

I enjoyed this book much more than I expected to when I first started it. The second half of the story and the exquisite writing hooked me. The narrator is incredible — she does the poetic writing justice with her tone and cadence.

If you love true crime, you will love this. The pacing and narrator were both good. Definitely worth a credit.
