Best Retelling Ever!
Revisado: 01-12-22
I am so in love with this series. I have binge-listened to the whole thing and am now anxious for the final installment. The story is captivating, the characters are loveable and relatable, the world is intriguing, and the plot exciting! The narrator is so animated with each character and I lose myself in the conversations and story. Bravo! I can't wait to finish this series out with the fifth book!

Historia
Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

An Enchanting and Gripping Love Story
Revisado: 07-06-19
This is hands down one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever heard in my entire life. I have never cried while reading a book, and this story brought me to tears more than once. I couldn't put it down, and listened to the last 3 hours straight through. It's an amazing story with a fabulous narration, and is now one of my favorite books of all time. I have always loved Greek and Roman mythology, and this is a gem. The characters are all wonderful, and they are perfectly presented so that you genuinely believe and feel something for each and every one of them. I will definitely be listening to this book again in the near future... after I've had a chance to go buy me some more tissues!

Best in the series!
Revisado: 07-26-18
This is by far the best in the series, although, it's hard to say that to some degree because they all wonderful. This is, in my opinion, the best fantasy series ever written. This is my first time listening to it instead of reading it, and I have to say the narration is wonderful, and all of the characters just come to life with him. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and this is the best way to end it!
