Historia
Four friends, a special house, and a journey into sisterhood. In a blink, you stepped over that half-a-century mark, and then, before you knew it, you’re considered a senior. How did that happen? It did. Too fast. Along the journey you got married, you had children, they became adults, you became a grandmother, your parents grew old and passed away, and now, you’re next on the journey to the end. All this is expected, except your relationship with a significant other. You’ve been a close couple for decades, then suddenly things change. Maybe with your significant other or you’re ...

Historia
Quinn Alexander has committed an unthinkable crime. To avoid spending her life in prison, Quinn makes a run for it. She leaves behind her home, her job, and her family. She grabs her passport and heads for the northern border before the police can discover what she's done. But when an unexpected snowstorm forces her off the road, Quinn must take refuge at the broken-down, isolated Baxter Motel. The handsome and kindly owner, Nick Baxter, is only too happy to offer her a cheap room for the night. Unfortunately, the Baxter Motel isn't the quiet safe haven it seemed to be.

listen without interruption

If I had to pause the story for more than a few minutes I had to backtrack a bit to be sure who was talking as all the three young female characters narrations sounded like the same character voices to me which was confusing.

Historia
It's Christmastime at Marlow House Bed and Breakfast, and Danielle has a full house. When a woman, stranded far from home, shows up on the doorstep and begs for a room for the night, how can Danielle tell her the inn is full and turn her away? After all, it's almost Christmas. The woman makes quite an impression on the other guests, especially when she mysteriously disappears. Is it foul play - or something supernatural?

Historia
It is 1890, and in the days before Christmas, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson are visited at Baker Street by a new client. Eve Allerthorpe, eldest daughter of a grand but somewhat eccentric Yorkshire-based dynasty, is greatly distressed, as she believes she is being haunted by a demonic Christmas spirit. Her late mother told her terrifying tales of the sinister Black Thurrick, and Eve is sure that she has seen the creature from her bedroom window. What is more, she has begun to receive mysterious parcels of birch twigs, the Black Thurrick’s calling card.

I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator's ability to portray the different characters voices effortlessly and consistantly.
