A Strong but Vulnerable Main Character.

I enjoyed this installment in the Alliance Series. Lina's story is one of loss, perseverance, anger, and Love! At some points in the story there seems to be something missing from it, but unfortunately I cannot put my finger on it (it might be the protagonist situation, the waxen leader is ug!).
The subplot of the story is of the missing women made into slaves from Earth, and how they have survived.
Over all I really enjoyed this Love Story!
And Another Wonderful Job by David Brenin.

I really enjoyed this book!! The Romance, the suspense, the tension; Nicole was able to bring all of these things together into one hot book!
This book combines the stories of the Arathian series and the Sirilian series into one, and after finishing this book I am looking forward to more stories/books this world.

Mari and Seth have more trouble ahead.
I was a little saddened to find that Seth and Mari are separated for most of this book, but I really enjoyed their reunion. There is the introduction of new Characters and you learn new things about existing characters.
The ending of this book is really good and again it is a must read to find out!

This book was a little slow at first, but got much better as it went on. I enjoyed the developing relationship of Mari and Seth. I also enjoyed the conflicts that developed and how the time travel was introduced.
Mari is a young college student who meets a gorgeous guy on campus and falls hard for him (with some resistant). She then learns that her dream guy is from the past and then they are torn apart.
Read the book to find out what happens... I will tell you it is good!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
If the editors would have waited for Phil and Natalie to read this book! I would have been willing to wait for the audio book if they were to read this book.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I am having a hard time following these performances/ Narrators. Barons sounds creepy to me and I just do not like these narrators. :(

To understand this book please read the first 2 novels first!
After the last book I was left a little confused on things, because there was so many splits in time. However, this book brings thing together nicely, and I was able to fallow much better. There was ups and downs, and there where times in the book, not too many, that I did not want to finish it; but I pushed through and am glad I did. (this is why I only gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5).
This book is the conclusion to Walkers Chronos Files books. And what a conclusion it was (that is all I will say on this because I just do not want to let anything slip out that might ruin this book for other readers.)!
In this book things are warped up, but it is left where there could be a spin-off series if the Author wishes too. (and I would not object to seeing one!)

Left wanting!

The performance was excellent as always. But the storyline was lacking.
I was left wanting more and not feeling satisfied that the story has been completed. I am unsure if there will be a next book, but I hope there will be one.
I feel like the relationships where left unresolved and in a very bad place.
