Board and annoyed

I started the book and waited for the story to get going. Then I reach chapter 25 almost the end of the book and realise its just bad. Everything that should be a pivotal plot falls flat in the writing. I never find my self feeling attached to the story, drawn into, or find to be new. There is nothing i can say to convince the fans of the first book that this one isn't the same without then experiencing it first hand. So for anyone that doesn't have the time and wishes to save money, pick a different book. If you're on the fence get off with confidence that you made the right decision. I really can't think of a nice way to word this review without being dishonest. Only reason I'm forcing myself to the end is to see if there is any redemption found in the last act, act 6 ("level 6").

This guy builds a structure for one of the most solid foundations a Christian can have in order for God to build the house of His design. He is honest to a fault and does not hold back.

Very real, very sad, VERY GOOD

This book is not for the weak of heart. Those looking for lifted spirits and comforting tales. Yet the story that is to be told is one unlike any other and compelling beyond measure. Enjoy

Very Dark but some of the Best Writing

Its been a very many years since a persons writing has so enthralled me. There were many times when I had to rewind and listen to what was just said at least 4-5 times to fully grasp the finer details. And the beginning of the book was extremely hard to follow without any understanding of what was going on, what names meant what. But once the official plot starts everything comes together and the chaos at the beginning is erased from memory. I couldn't tell you what happened in the beginning of the book even if you paid me. But I could tell you acute detail for the whole main narrative.

Fantastic Analysis with the Focus on God

Could not recommend a better book to really dig in to the most common failings of men in todays society and how the bible prepares and helps us overcome those failings.

Very Good Deep analysis

I highly recommend you digest this in pieces. Maybe one chapter a day, what he talks about is so deep and thought provoking, speeding through would only diminish the purpose of this book.

What God does in a life devoted to Gods word and spreading it for the glory of God and not mans self interest... Awesome by it's truest definition.

Loved it. the voice over was spot on and the stories beautifully conveyed the wonderful blessings of God throughout this man's life

Best spoken soldier and father iv heard

i could not believe how emotional and enthralling this book would be. not once did i notice it was read by an actor, and more so it did not stop me from feeling all the author has to say. there couldn't be a better memoir of this man's life than his own words. All he had to say and nothing felt left out. left his heart on the table.

Can be very hard to follow.

at times the author didn't specify who is taking and is extremely confusing to try and parce things out. still over all a good book
