Too much drama!

This is a great story line, slow to start, and ruined with way too much drama and detail. So much so I’d rather have a tooth drilled by a machinist. The author describes every drop of sweat, waking and sleeping thoughts, and literally every single step of every single character. It is excruciating. To top it off the narrator pronounces every Italian word with an over emphasized accent. I can’t believe I wasted a credit on this. Getting through it was BRUTAL. Don’t waste your credit on this. Go to the library and check it out then skip to the good parts. Very disappointed.

This book should be mandatory reading by all service academies and NCO courses. A very realistic perspective of guerrilla war.
