Historia
After five years on the run, Court Gentry is back on the inside at the CIA. But his first mission makes him wish he had stayed on the outs when a pair of Chinese agents try to take him down in Hong Kong. Normally the Chinese prefer to stay eyes-only on foreign agents. So why are they on such high alert? Court's high stakes hunt for answers takes him across Southeast Asia and leads to his old friend, Donald Fitzroy, who is being held hostage by the Chinese.

Historia
When Lady Saren defies her father’s command to marry the vicious Lord Khasar, she is sealed in a tower with only her serving maid, Dashti, for company. In their cramped, dark space Dashti pours her thoughts into a daily journal while pitiless solitude engulfs them. At first the girl is optimistic: they have food aplenty, candles for light, and even a visit from Lady Saren’s true love, Khan Tegus - though he can only call to them from outside their walls. But their circumstances soon grow desperate.

How to become conversational on any subject
Revisado: 06-27-14
Would you listen to A Short History of Nearly Everything again? Why?
This book contains so much interesting information on so many subjects anyone can become a better conversationalist in short order. Now I always have something to useful say when in intelligent company.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the expansion of my knowledge especially on sub-atomic particles, in general on the genesis and plausibility of many current subjects.
What about Richard Matthews’s performance did you like?
This is an enjoyable and informative voice, delivered in an erudite manner.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I couldn't listen to it all in one setting, because it had both length and depth
Any additional comments?
Loved it.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I usually finish books I enjoy. There were more active charactors and side stories than I usually seek, but they were easy to follow and interesting.

The story of a loner who died alone
Revisado: 06-04-12
What did you like best about Into the Wild? What did you like least?
The writer gave us good insights into the psyche of this strange young man. I liked that he related the experience, not only to his own youthful enterprizes, but to others as well. I too, took on strange adventures in my 20s. I am sad that this youth never got to experience the rest of the fine panoply of feelings and experiences the other ages of his life might have offered him.
Would you recommend Into the Wild to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes. It is insightful into adventurous spirits and the nature of certain persons during certain periods of their lives.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
No. It was done very well
Did Into the Wild inspire you to do anything?
No. I am 72, and into the comfort seeking stage of life. But how well I remember those powerful urges and emotions. I have written a wild outdoor adventure novel of my own. But I am better at writing than marketing.
Any additional comments?
Nostalgic. But then nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Enjoyed the story
Revisado: 03-12-12
If you could sum up The Burning Bridge in three words, what would they be?
A fun adventure with charming young folks. It was fun to see the young apprentice grow in capability and daring. The young princess was courageous also.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Will, because he started with so little in the way of stature, birth and schooling; but managed to develop strength and skill against all odds.
What about William Zappa’s performance did you like?
He read the story like a story, and kept me involved.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A David and Goliath film, and a trio of young adventurers similar to Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione.
Any additional comments?
fun read.
