In 1 Samuel we continue our narrative. Samuel is the last of the judges, and with his end approaching the people demand a king “so we can be like all the other nations.” As God tells Samuel, “it is not you they have rejected, they have rejected me as their king.” And indeed they have. The people choose a king, Saul of the tribe of Benjamin. Saul will rule Israel for an entire generation, but although he looks like a king, he does not have the heart of a king, and the weight of kingship crushes him.

I can no longer claim I can not understand why Muslims are the way they are. In doing so I feel much remorse in there faith. I hope and pray that those like Nabeel find the enlightenment they truly seek.

amazingly written book about an even more amazing story.
Rebecca was able to articulate in such a way I felt like I was there with them. Felt the pain of the Laxx family felt and also the importance Henrietta has contributed too society.
Also, very thorough investigative research, Rebecca. thank you for not rushing to make a quick buck.

doubt eliminated

we all have our questions. I certainly had a lot of them, but this book essentially eliminated all of them. not to say I will not have doubs in the future, but that is the beauty of faith, it allows us to doubt and yet still keep it.
if you're a sceptic, or have more doubtful days than faithful one, I can promise you if you read this book, study this book, it will answer a lot of questions.
although this book is hard to understand in some sections, I will probably have to read it again, it is a mountain of knowledge. I thank God for it. and the author.
