I had hope for itt, great story line, but then I listened to it. I even attempted book two.
Author has zero concept of GAY and narrator cannot keep a voice

Too Short

So far I am enjoying the series. Yes Otto(¿) makes things too easy, but unlike others he had some training beforehand. With that knowledge it’s easy to see why.

My main issue with everything so far is that this “reads” like an a bridged version. I would love each book to be two or three times longer. Similar to other authors I’ve been listening to.

Over all, there is just a lack of deft to each book.

But still planning to finish!

The Series is Lost

chapter 29 has end my following of this series. the last few books were a pain to get through and this one closes the chapter on Bucher's ability to still write stories.
it's sad really, he had options but chose not to.

Should I finish

I am only a few chapters into this book. I have listened to every one up to now during 2020 (skipping the analogy).
In all of the other books in an hooked by chapters 2 or 3. This one i am flailing to even start chapter 8.

Over all, then end of changes seems to either have been a bad idea or the end of the series.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I will attempt a few more chapters, but.....

many reviews complain about the breathing and additional sounds James makes.
these people are not used to a story being told in 1st person. every aspect of this is 1st person.
the others complaining are expecting a psuedo monotone droll describing what is happening.

personally I think James did fantastic.

oh, and here is this copied from above:
