Historia
Maps have a mysterious hold over us. Whether ancient, crumbling parchments or generated by Google, maps tell us things we want to know, not only about our current location or where we are going but about the world in general. And yet, when it comes to geo-politics, much of what we are told is generated by analysts and other experts who have neglected to refer to a map of the place in question.

Very informative look at the determinative role of geography in world history and geopolitics. The book narrator did a great job and made the book more fun to listen to.

Historia
Humans are venturing up and out, and we’re taking our competitive spirit with us. Soon, what happens in space will shape human history as much the mountains, rivers, and seas have impacted civilizations around the world. It’s no coincidence that Russia, China, and the USA are leading the way. The next fifty years will change the face of global politics and the world order as we know it. In this must-listen work, bestselling author Tim Marshall navigates the new astropolitical reality to show how we got here and where we’re heading.

Good Overview of Astro Politics
Revisado: 04-18-24
Tim Marshall gives a good overview of the state of the world’s various space programs and the geopolitical issues of space. He does it in an entertaining way with a bit of British humor sprinkled in.

Most Trustworthy Source Re Anti-Aging
Revisado: 01-02-24
This is an amazing work from Dr Michael Greger. The book is based on the reviews of over 13,000 clinical studies by Dr Greger and his team and took more than 3 years to produce. It is perhaps the most comprehensive and trustworthy source in the world today regarding the current knowledge of anti-aging.
Dr. Greger's work is much more credible than the myriads of shills out there promoting all kinds of supplements, substances, ridiculous "therapies" and such to extend healthspan and lifespan. Almost all of the others touting themselves as longevity experts have commercial interests in the things they promote (Think Dr Michael Sinclair for example with NMN for example, which he's trying to classify as a drug to be able to have a lock on supplying it. Besides not being effective, it might actually be counterproductive and shorten your healthspan.). Dr Greger, instead, works from a non-profit standpoint with no commercial interest, and focuses on real clinical science, almost exclusively on studies involving humans.
Read by the author himself, Dr Greger does an excellenbt job in adding an element of entertainment and enjoyment through the very long journey through the current science on aging and longevity.
Using an exclusively clinical science-based approach, focusing on the results from studies involving humans, not only lab animals and microorganisms, is the only credible way to wade through the forest of misinformation out there regarding how to live longer and healthier. Dr Greger and his team provide this for you in this extremely thorough and authoritative publication.
