i have to confess that my first impression was that this is a kind of superficial story. with all the media fuss and glittering and intrigues going on. but once again i was oh so wrong.
but first things first. meet mimi a tv reporter who struggles in her business as well as mulgrew, a narcotics detective. just dive into their world to find out how the two of them get connected.
this story deals with a very serious topic but still in a not too depressing way.
the characters are very very likeable and go through a strong development.
this was my first book from lise but i am sure going to check out her other works!!

not the best of the series

while i really enjoyed the first 3 in this series i had to struggle to finish that one. maybe because the focus shifted from patsy and meredith to a topic i am not so much into...
but don't want to spoil too much.
anyhow the ending is very very promising!!!!!

Meredith and Hodge are up for new adventures-plenty of them! there is so much going on in this story that i don't want to write too much about it, but IMHO the plot gets better and better with every book!

as somebody who is not too much into police precedure i was totally surprised by this story. in my opinion the characters are very likeable and i am glad this is a series!
