Historia
For decades, Sandra Brown’s life has been intertwined with someone she has never met: an eleven year-old girl named Moira Anderson – who disappeared from their hometown of Coatbridge, Scotland, in 1957. It became one of the oldest cold cases in Scottish history. Sandra lived just around the corner from Moira. She grew up hearing about the missing girl, whose memory haunted the town. But she never imagined that, one day, she would be the one trying to uncover what happened. Or that her search for answers would reveal secrets and lies so close to home.

Great production
Revisado: 07-11-24
Listeners have mentioned that they had difficulty understanding the narration is only due to their difficulty with Scottish accent.
Great story with fantastic production and narration!

Historia
His music thrilled the generation it was written for and has entertained and inspired every generation since. Hero: David Bowie is an exploration of the man behind the myths and the makeup told from the very beginning. Respected music journalist and biographer Lesley-Ann Jones knew David Jones from the days before fame, when he was a young musician starting out, frustrated by an industry that wouldn't give him a break and determined to succeed at whatever cost.

Boring

Don’t waste your time.
This isn’t about Bowie, this is the author experiences with him, which was very little to nothing.

Historia
I was born and broken in Birkenhead, abused from infancy by a network of every kind of pervert from ‘thinks it’s love’ to ‘show it hurts’. I was unwanted, beaten, sold, swapped, photographed, filmed, left for dead, corrupted, blamed, betrayed, ignored and orphaned. But I was also born with a fire inside me. I call it my Phoenix Fire. I am no victim—that word only describes what happened to me. Nor am I a survivor because that implies I am over it. I am a Phoenix—a work in progress. This is my story....

Eye opening for those who supposed to be taking care of our children but are failing miserably.

Historia
Often called the greatest novel ever written, War and Peace is at once an epic of the Napoleonic wars, a philosophical study, and a celebration of the Russian spirit. Tolstoy's genius is clearly seen in the multitude of characters in this massive chronicle, all of them fully realized and equally memorable.

Historia
As a chief stewardess on luxury superyachts, I massage egos, pamper the spoiled, and cater to the most outlandish desires of the rich and famous. I've never had a guest want something I can't give them. Until British businessman Hayden Wolf comes aboard - all sexy swagger and mysterious requests. But guests are strictly off limits and I've never broken a rule. Not even bent one. My family are depending on me and I can't lose my job. Only problem is Hayden Wolf is looking at me like I just changed his life. And he's touching me like he's about to change mine.

Expect absurdity
Revisado: 06-18-18
How can I get these 10 hours back?
If you still like ‘the submissive woman and the selfish demanding man’ kind of story this is your book.
If you are somehow intelligent stay away from it.
The old formula of the rich asshole who falls in love with the stupid weak woman doesn’t seem to end!
The plot is already absurd: 8 weeks in a yacht: it’s not a cruise!! 3 days confined in a yacht makes you deadly sick!!!
Then the asshole that likes to ‘shag’ women (as they repeatedly say) falls in love with the most uninteresting woman he could find on his way.
Of course he does right? Right.
And he decides he owns her, so they call it love.
More absurdities like: unprotected sex with an womaniser, guests touching crew inappropriately as it happens all the time and women just accept it, unrealistic sex scenes, bribes that go from 5,000 to 150,000! Inexplicably!
And then ‘they’ bought a house in London. Yes, in London. Just like this. The poor selfless woman buys a house in London.
If you value your time, skip this title.
