Historia
Ronni Sunshine left London for Hollywood to become a beautiful, charismatic star of the silver screen. But at home she was a narcissistic, disinterested mother who alienated her three daughters. As soon as possible, tomboy Nell fled her mother's overbearing presence to work on a farm and find her own way in the world as a single mother. The target of her mother's criticism, Meredith never felt good enough, thin enough, pretty enough. Her life took her to London - and into the arms of a man whom she may not even love.

I love Jane Green books
Revisado: 01-16-18
But I do not love her reading her own books. The narration really ruined the story for me. I never paid attention to who the narrator was, now I’m going to start.

More of the same
Revisado: 11-29-11
If you like the series and want to hear more adventures of the characters this is a great continuation. If you are looking for some new and more exciting, it is not in this book. I like series so I plan on reading all the books in it; but as I can tell that it is basically the same story line as the others....I am in no rush.

Historia
City of Fallen Angels take up where City of Glass left off. With Valentine out of the way, Clary thought she and Jace could finally be together--but when someone starts murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to destroy the new peace between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, she realizes the past can never be left entirely behind.

Great book, bad narration
Revisado: 09-28-11
I loved the story. It was a great continuance from the other three books. However, I did not love the switch of the narrators. Ed sounded more like an older experienced man than a teenage boy or girl. Plus he put no effort to changing his tone even a little for the female characters. Most of the time a couldn't distinquish which character was saying what. Then on the other extreme, Molly sounds like a little girl. Plus, she should have at least listened to the other audio books first as she says a lot of the words differently. It took me some time to figure out what she pronounced as "STEELY" was refering to. I loved the story line enough to cringe through it's narration. I hope they reconsider the narration for the next book.

I hope the movie is better
Revisado: 05-26-11
The narration by Jennifer Wiltsie is the only thing I enjoyed about this booked. I read this booking thinking that it would explain to me why I would like a character that has an affair with her best friend's fianc??. On the surface this character is not likeable and I thought the book would give her some likeable depth that I could buy in to. It didn't. I hated her more with every chapter and almost stopped listening to the book all together. Rachel whines and complains about being a victim through the entire book. I just felt that if you lie on the floor, you shouldn't complain about being stepped on. Rachel chose her path and could change it but she just blames her unhappiness on Darcy. Plus the writer does everything possible to make sure you dislike the Darcy character; as Darcy is clearly self indulgent and self centered. Then Rachel's friends that are practically gleeful at her betrayal of Darcy mainly because of how Darcy treated Rachel in grade school...COME ON! This book tries to justify deep betrayal with trivial nonsense and it just didn't work for me. Don???t waste a credit on this one; I wish I had read the reviews before I did.

Good book
Revisado: 02-26-10
I really liked this book, especially the reading of it. It was almost theatrical enough that I could see this being a movie. If you like the Jane Green books or the shopholic series types, you will love this as it has a slight edgier tale to tell.
