These books serve as a reminder that the Country has faced threats and challenges before and have managed to get through them and become stronger. Baier successfully ties history to today's events. Great job by Bret Baier as usual shinning a light on an underdiscussed Historical topic/figure. I greatly enjoyed the insights of the events of 1876 elections, and the role Grant played in holding the country together.

If you like stories about wild, risky, and immature drug induced behavior you will love this book. If you were looking for detail schemes and scams executed by some greedy genius, this book was light on that.
