Historia
Historians have long told the story of America’s birth as the triumph of Jefferson’s democratic ideals over the aristocratic intentions of Hamilton. Chernow presents an entirely different man, whose legendary ambitions were motivated not merely by self-interest but by passionate patriotism and a stubborn will to build the foundations of American prosperity and power.

EXCELLENT!!!
Revisado: 03-18-21
Everything is excellent in this book, from how thorough the account and explanation of Hamilton’s life and political beliefs is, to the artfully and flawless writing of the book. It definitely merits applause. What an exquisite, interesting and informative account of one of the nation’s founding fathers and of American history. The only bad thing is that the book came to an end. Definitely recommend the book for anyone who loves a good story and history.

Revisado: 09-11-20
Such an intimate and tragic story told with a perfect balance of raw honesty and grace, all while putting everything in perspective of how tragedy and life fit into the overall ecos of humanity. The style is heartfelt writing while also insightful and informative. This book is perfect and of inmensurable value for anyone dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts, those with loved ones or friends growing through depression and struggles, and simply anyone wanting insight on how mental illness, loss, hope and faith can all work together.

It was quite interesting to listen. I only wonder if he could have used examples from more companies, it seems like the same companies are mentioned over and over again. But it's good information for Advertising professionals.

I found the audio book to be very interesting! Sometimes it seems like it diverts a little from the main story but you then realize it ties into the larger picture of what is at stake here.
The book makes you realize and think about things you are not aware of or simply never thought of regarding the food industry.
I recommend it!

Very basic information.
Revisado: 06-05-20
It’s a good generalized information on social media use for someone or a business that is not at all familiarized with social media platforms. If you have even the basic knowledge, the book is too simple and offers little takeaways

Historia
New York Times best-selling author and star of 2 Dope Queens Phoebe Robinson is back with a new, hilarious, and timely essay collection on gender, race, dating, and the Dumpster fire that is our world. Written in her trademark unfiltered and witty style, Robinson's latest collection is a call to arms. Outfitted with on-point pop culture references, these essays tackle a wide range of topics: giving feminism a tough-love talk on intersectionality, telling society's beauty standards to kick rocks, and calling foul on our culture's obsession with work.

Didn’t feel it
Revisado: 02-13-19
Not my style, maybe it is for others and that’s good, but I didn’t particularly care for the style of writing of the author and didn’t personally find it funny as it’s obviously supposed to be. There are some positive things she says but the way she expresses herself isn’t my style.

Historia
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

One of the best
Revisado: 02-08-19
By far one of the best books I have read. The story is so real, describing a reality many can’t relate to, yet it does so in a way that you are brought into the writers world to better grasp what emotions and thoughts guided her through her journey. The book is written with a very eloquent style, and the way the author uses words and written imagery to describe and transport the reader is simply captivating.
