Silly and Sappy

Implausible, sappy heroine wth severe mommy issues tells a ridiculous, loosely constructed long yarn that defies logic and common sense. Maybe a six grader would be engaged in the drastically condensed version. Readers Digest might be able to make something out of it.

Great story. Strange and distracting narration.

The narrator's oddly clipped style and rather jarring cadence made it difficult to follow the story line. I found it necessary to rewind and re-listen far too often. But, I thoroughly loved the story!, although probably would have loved it even more if I read the actual book.
