Historia
In the wake of a devastating attack, an amnesty has been declared for all Augurs - finally allowing them to emerge from hiding and openly oppose the dark forces massing against the land of Andarra. As the Augur Davian and his new allies hurry north toward the ever-weakening Boundary, however, fresh horrors along their path suggest that their reprieve may have come far too late. His ally in the Capital, the new Northwarden, contends with assassins and politicians and uncovers a dangerous political secret.

An incredible second chapter to the Licanius trilogy, answers many questions left from the first book, and opening up so many new pathways for the third book to lead us down. The excellent narration helps keep things fresh and the voices of each character are unique and memorable. A stellar performance all around.
Highly recommend!

Excellent!!!
Revisado: 05-26-21
Hands down this is one of my favorite series of all time. This is my third or fourth time reading through the series, and first time listening to it via narration. while I really enjoyed the previous narrator, this books narrator seemed a little more limited due to the sheer number of characters in the series.
Nonetheless, 100% recommend, and I promise that you will not be disappointed.
Enjoy!

Historia
The ravaged continent of Genabackis has given birth to a terrifying new empire: the Pannion Domin. Like a tide of corrupted blood, it seethes across the land, devouring all. In its path stands an uneasy alliance: Onearm’s army and Whiskeyjack’s Bridgeburners alongside their enemies of old - the forces of the Warlord Caladan Brood, Anomander Rake and his Tiste Andii mages, and the Rhivi people of the plains. But ancient undead clans are also gathering; the T’lan Imass have risen.

Truly one is my favorite series of all time! I have read them several times and am so glad I can now share them with my friends via an excellent performance by the narrator on Audible.
Some of the pronunciations obviously are a bit different from those in my head, but such few and far between that it is hardly with mentioning.
The voice range the narrator has for such a HUGE number of characters is truly impressive!! Must be over three dozen voices he had mastered!

Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Absolutely excellent read, a wonderful story
Revisado: 05-22-19
A wonderful reading of one of my favorite books of all time. The gripping tale draws you into a world of intrigue, political maneuvering , gureilla warfare, and the birth of a religion and the clashes within an empire. The excellent narration keeps you going even through some of the (exceedingly rare) dry bits.
Enjoy!

Excellently written and very well performed. I really enjoyed listening to this after I finally discovered Dune last month. I would highly recommend this one for any Herbert fan who have already delved into the world of Arrackis.
