Historia
At home, Richard Kuklinski was a dedicated suburban family man; on the street, he was the Iceman, a professional hit man and lethal scam artist, a man so heartless he kept one of his victims frozen for over two years to disguise the time of death. His personal body count was over 100, but the police couldn’t touch him. Then undercover agent Dominick Polifrone posed as a mobster and began a deadly game of cat and mouse. The Iceman chronicles Kuklinski’s grisly career and exposes his murderous double life.

You can't argue with numbers. Denver's analysis of "the numbers" (CDR / Text Messages), is revealing as to just how far people will go to stay in power. This is a must read/listen for everyone.

Through meticulous reporting and panoramic storytelling, journalist Mark Follman chronicles the decades-long search for identifiable profiles of mass shooters and brings listeners inside a groundbreaking method for preventing devastating attacks. Eight years in the making, Trigger Points illuminates a way forward at a time when the failure to prevent mass shootings has never been more costly—and the prospects for stopping them never more promising.

Working from exclusive inside reporting, New Yorker writer Nicholas Schmidle tells the remarkable story of the test pilots, engineers, and visionaries behind Virgin Galactic’s campaign to build a space tourism company. Schmidle follows a handful of characters - Mark Stucky, Virgin’s lead test pilot; Richard Branson, the eccentric billionaire funding the venture; Mike Moses, the grounded, unflappable president; Mike Alsbury, the test pilot killed in a fatal crash; and others - in pursuit of their collective goal: to make space tourism a reality.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

A Listen For Just Passing The Time.
Revisado: 10-22-20
For me, the storyline of the book drifted around quite a bit. Frampton's narration was good, but his writing style (At least for book worthy material!), could use improvement.

Was What's My Line TV star, media icon, and crack investigative reporter and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen murdered for writing a tell-all book about the JFK assassination? If so, is the main suspect in her death still at large? These questions and more are answered in former CNN, ESPN, and USA Today legal analyst Mark Shaw's 25th book, The Reporter Who Knew Too Much.

Boring!
Revisado: 11-14-19
The story is built upon hearsay, conjecture, and the author's opinion of what happened to Dorothy Kilgallen. Very few facts were used to build a solid case.
The narration performance was "fair", but that is in large part due to the "fair" material that Gabra Zack an had to work with.
I couldn't finish listening to the book. I didn't want to waste any more of my time.

A parable for the new age of inequality: part family history, part detective story, part history of a vanishing class, and a vividly compelling exploration of the degree to which an inheritance - financial, cultural, genetic - conspired in one person's self-destruction.

Remarkable Story!
Revisado: 04-19-19
I purchased the audio version of this book on a hunch. That hunch turned out correct!
First, the story is very well written. Second Ms. Scott's narration performance was spot on perfect. Lastly, I have lived on Mount Desert Island, Maine for 35 years; where the Scott family had owned a "summer cottage" for several years. Each summer, my wife interacts with one of the Scott family members.
All of the above unfolded as a delightful surprise, based on a hunch!
I am going to listen to the story again!
