Historia
Henry Winkler, launched into prominence as “The Fonz” in the beloved Happy Days, has transcended the role that made him who he is. Brilliant, funny, and widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood (though he would be the first to tell you that it’s simply not the case, he’s really just grateful to be here), Henry shares in this achingly vulnerable memoir the disheartening truth of his childhood, the difficulties of a life with severe dyslexia, the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own, and the path forward once your wildest dream seems behind you.

The passion in his voice while telling his story.
Revisado: 12-17-23
A delightful easy to listen to, touching, funny and educational story of his life. Loved the importance of human connections all the way through his life. The honesty about the relationship with his parents and his disability and how he dealt with these challenges. Amazing experiences in all walks of life and with a diversity of people.

I’m Dutch and have traveled all over the world both for work and pleasure. Yes, the world would be a better place if people traveled like Rick and the way I did it. Meeting local people, listening and experiencing their culture and making lifelong friends. Rick has a gift of telling his stories with passion, truth and enthusiasm. Amazing job! Thank you Rick!

Historia
Woodward, the number-one international bestselling author of Fear: Trump in the White House, has uncovered the precise moment the president was warned that the Covid-19 epidemic would be the biggest national security threat to his presidency. In dramatic detail, Woodward takes readers into the Oval Office as Trump’s head pops up when he is told in January 2020 that the pandemic could reach the scale of the 1918 Spanish Flu that killed 675,000 Americans.

Historia
Boyd Varty had an unconventional upbringing. He grew up on Londolozi Game Reserve in South Africa, a place where man and nature strive for balance, where perils exist alongside wonders. Founded more than 80 years ago as a hunting ground, Londolozi was transformed into a nature reserve beginning in 1973 by Varty’s father and uncle, visionaries of the restoration movement. But it wasn’t just a sanctuary for the animals; it was also a place for ravaged land to flourish again and for the human spirit to be restored.

Amazing!
Revisado: 05-27-19
This story was extremely inspiring, well written and told. It was amazing! I lived in Hazyview for 3 month and taught @ a teacher training college. I let v d near the Sabine river near the Kruger National Park and experience some of the wild life Boyd talked about. I was mesmerized and inspired by his insight and love for nature. Thank you! You’ve helped me love life again!
