Fantastic first book of a promising series!

I am a huge fan of Jason Anspach but haven't read anything by Ryan Williamson yet but he has himself a new fan. This was a fantastic book that kicked all sorts of butt. I was sort of in a book hangover after finishing my last book and this was what broke my out of that funk. The story had me hooked once things started getting weird and it didn't let up. It reminds me of my favorite fantasy/mil scifi series The Lost by Peter Nealen. One of the major selling points for me was Mark Boyett as the narrator. He is absolutely one of the best narrators out there and is wildly underrated. He is deftly narrates this book and does the various accents and does a fantastic job of saying some of the tribal words. I especially love the voice that he does for the character of Epasotl. The book takes off and the action doesn't really stop. I especially love the team dynamics and the banter between the teammates. Being a combat veteran myself, I can see myself and my friends when I read the scenes between the Cav troops. I will be anxiously waiting for the next book to come out because I am HOOKED.

Fantastic!!!!

I’ve had this book for a while now and haven’t gotten around to it until my sister read it and gushed about it nonstop so I figured that I’d give it a shot. I have a long commute and figured that I’d just listen to it. It was so enthralled by it that I found myself sitting in the car after I’d arrive at work or at home just to listen a little while longer. If you’re a fan of Indiana Jones, National Treasure and the X-Files then you will not be disappointed. Sorry, I suck at reviews. Read/listen to this book!!!!

Peter does it again!!!

Mark Boyett is sooo underrated and he is amazing here with Peter Nealen writing another fantastic entry in the Lost series. I loved how he went more into the sword that Conor found. This whole world is so fascinating and I can’t wait to learn more.

Utterly fantastic sequel

Hunter did it again and Luke absolutely killed it here!!!! The story here is fantastic but the shinning star is Luke Daniels. His narrating of James’ words is outstanding and made me laugh and cheer so many times. This is probably my favorite of Luke’s work so far. Each character has a distinct voice and I loved his voice for the 80 year old Steelborn that Boyd runs into at a fancy gala. I legit almost choked on my lunch while I was listening to the scene. If you’re a fan of the first book then absolutely pick this one up and dive in!!!

Loved this book!!

This series is a continuation of the Renegade Star series but you don’t have to have read that series in order to enjoy it. Molly and Jeff did a fantastic job with the characters and I am anxious awaiting book 2 to see where the story goes.

Mark Boyett is fantastic!!!!

I’ll keep this short since this is a sequel. I liked this book better than the first one. Not ripping on the first book but this one took that and dialed it up by giving Chase and company a team of salty veterans to help them in their quest to stop the Sunkillers. I am anxiously awaiting the third book!!!

Another great continuation

The GE series, in my opinion, is better at being Star Wars then Star Wars is and this book is another stone in the pile of proof. This book is fantastic and I love all of the developments that happen in it. We get to learn sooo much about Kill Team Ice and about our beloved Aeson Ford/Keel/Wraith. Heck, you can even toss in a healthy handful of info about another favorite character that shall remain nameless(spoilers). If you’ve made it this far into the series, then you already know that this is gonna be another killer book from our boys Anspach and Cole.

Fantastic!!!

Oh man, I loved this book and am so glad that they got RC Bray back!!! Not ripping on Ray Porter because he is one of my favorite narrators but Bray IS the voice of Galaxy’s Edge.
I am digging where they are taking the story and loved to see Garret get some action/adventure time with Keel. To me, he really stepped out of his shell in this book.
I won’t go too much more into it because of spoilers but I loved this book so much that I started reading on the ARC of their next book to continue the story.

Excellent sequel!!!

Anspach and Chaney did it again with 86-Neon and Mark Boyett does such a fantastic job with this book. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators and is does not disappoint in this. Lots more litrpg goodness but it isn’t weighed down with endless stats. I am excited for the next book in this series.

Omega Force does it again!!!!

I’ll keep this short. Rebellion freaking rocked!!! Josh kicked out another kickbutt OF book and Paul narrated amazingly. I love the little inflections that he does for each of the OF characters. Definitely makes them stand out when a lesser narrator would have jumbled them together. If you have been following along then this book is a no brainer. If you are new to this series then this is not a jumping on point.
