Historia
Harry Sandwith, a Westminster boy, becomes a resident at the chateau of a French marquis. After various adventures he accompanies the family to Paris at the height of the French Revolution. Imprisonment and death reduce their number, and Harry finds himself beset by perils with the three young daughters of the house in his charge. After narrow escapes they reach Nantes. There the girls are condemned to death in the coffin ships, but are saved by the unfailing courage of their young protector.

Great for Adults and Children
Revisado: 10-22-22
I like how this author incorporated the history of the French Revolution with a well-written adventure story. Children are often bored reading dry history and in the history books I have read about the French Revolution, I see accuracy in this book. The narrator is clear and has an animated voice which I also enjoyed. I would recommend this book to both adults and children. The book also reinforces morality and responsibility and is a very exciting adventure.

Historia
A recent poll showed 43 percent of Americans think more socialism would be a good thing. What do these people not know? In The Case Against Socialism, Rand Paul outlines the history of socialism, from Stalin’s gulags to the current famine in Venezuela. He tackles common misconceptions about the “utopia” of socialist Europe. As it turns out, Scandinavian countries love capitalism as much as Americans, and have, for decades, been cutting back on the things Bernie loves the most.

An extremely factual well written book. Should be required reading for all young Americans. Kelly does a great job narrating.

Historia
Dismembered bodies of women for hire litter the sides of the road in rural Tennessee. It has happened before, 30 years prior. Not knowing if the murders are that of a copycat or the original killer making a reappearance, Agent Hank Rawlings, along with Agent Beth Harper, is once again dispatched to the scene. With little help from the local authorities and limited resources at their disposal, Hank, Beth, and a local agent are tasked with pulling back the layers of deceit to circle closer to the man responsible.

Historia
Long before America's recent economic downturn, beltway politicians knew the U.S. was going bankrupt. Yet even after several so-called "change" elections, the government has continued its wasteful ways in the face of imminent danger. With passion and clarity, Coburn explains why Washington resists change so fiercely and offers controversial yet common-sense solutions to secure the nation's future. At a time when millions of Americans are speculating about what is broken in Washington, The Debt Bomb is a candid, thoughtful, nonpartisan exposé of the real problems inside our government.

Any additional comments?
This book details why no solutions are coming out of Washington. Dr. Coburn tells it like it is, and has plans and is also willing to accept other plans that will prevent the destruction of our country. Don't be fooled, both Democrats and Republicans share the blame. If you want to save Medicare and Social Security, read this book.
