Historia
Nominated for both the Hugo and Nebula Award, City on Fire returns to the world-city of Metropolitan, a city dominated by plasm, the magical substance capable of both creation and destruction. With her help, Aiah's lover Constantine has established himself in the metropolis of Caraqui, a nation dominated by corrupt officials, gangsters, and the genetically altered known as the "twisted." Great story. I’d read it in paperback a long time ago. The audiobook performance was good and the second “reading” was even better!

Historia
New York Times and number one Audible.com best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes listeners on a journey that is not only action-packed, but full of scientific and philosophical intrigue. In his most mind-bending story since Infinite and Alter, Robinson blends genres, belief systems, and bold prose into an unputdownable tale exploring the nature of reality.

Simulated Religion
Revisado: 02-23-21
This book tackles the existential horror of self awareness while seeing the machinery of reality. I recommend this book. It was entertaining and followed its own internal logic.
It’s also the first I’ve read by this author. I’ll be looking to read more.

Historia
Hugh had been taught that, according to the ancient sacred writings, the Ship was on a voyage to faraway Centaurus. But he also understood this was just allegory for a voyage to spiritual perfection. Indeed, how could the Ship move, since its miles and miles of metal corridors were all there was of creation? Science knew that the Ship was all the universe, and as long as the sacred Converter was fed, the lights would continue to glow, the air would flow, and the Creator's Plan would be fulfilled.

Sexist but interesting
Revisado: 12-13-20
Classic 60s science fiction. With an overtly sexist slant whenever any of the cattle like females are discussed. I found that aspect distracting. But I love interstellar colony ship stories and found this take on a multi generational journey unique and fun.
