Historia
Set in ninth-century England and Norway, Dream of Me tells the story of Wolf Hakonson, a fierce Norse chief who falls in love when he kidnaps the sister of his rival, Hawk, a prominent Saxon lord. Wolf marries the lovely Cymbra but their wedded bliss is short-lived. First the women of the settlement refuse to accept their Saxon mistress who turns out to have emphatic abilities, and then Wolf must face the wrath of his brother-in-law.

Exciting and Entertaining
Revisado: 01-29-08
I just finished the Outlander Series and was in dire need to read more of Highlanders and Vikings. I was not disappointed in this story. Wolf & Cymbra was another Jamie & Claire. I only wish the story of the two could have continued. I love long continueous stories. I highly recommend this reading. Thank you Josie. Have you ever considered to continue the story, even now?

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

This has got to be one of the best novels I have read thus far. I love the time period. Diana makes the characters so real, and she sweeps you away to their time that when danger arises you feel inclined to run or hide with them. I am having a hard time to put down the book but am forced to, but so anxious to start it once again. Thank you, Diana, for this wonderful time you are giving me. I am starting Dragonfly in Amber next and I am confident I will once again get lost in the story. Looking forward to reading the whole series. Thank you, thank you.
