What a phenomenal, wise and heartfelt manual for marriage! I love how the author expresses with heart, vulnerability and messiness-the ups, and a lot of the downs of relationship. Giving tangible advice and action steps on how to navigate from two very different advantage points towards a common goal. As someone who is coming out of a destructive marriage, I have found the parts of my mind that want to shy away from Hope in a future relationship. But as I listened, I felt a small budding hope that I could have a nourishing relationship someday, and when I do I will apply these principles and steps, the idea doesn’t feel daunting-it feels exciting after listening to this book!!!!
Traci gives practical and time-honored wisdom in how to navigate from the very beginning, every step of the way for your unique and successful love story. I loved what she said about no two people being a fit, that it’s a matter of choosing every day on both parts to show up with the best of ourselves. To come as we are, with heart and honesty. This is a book I will listen to over and again to soak in the riches of staying in my own lane, and also, speaking to the best parts of my future spouse in a way that is honoring and For the common goal of connection and lifelong marriage.
Thank you, Traci Morrow for putting your life experience study and heart into these pages. The ripple effect is going to be massive! You are doing beautiful work on this planet and I am thankful to be a recipient if your hard won wisdom and fun revelations. Thank you for giving me hope around a future marriage, with tangible steps that I can implement, as well as I what I can look for in the dating pool-another person who’s committed to the growth and success of our union! Two very different people committed to the common goal! This is a must for every person, whether you’re paired currently or not. I highly recommend this book and will be giving a copy to every soon to be married couple I meet!
I love that the author is also the narrator, her warmth and heart come through every word! Loved this book!!! You WILL be better for it🩷🩷💌
