Historia

Historia
Red November is filled with hair-raising, behind-the-scenes stories that take you deep beneath the surface and into the action of the Cold War. Few know how close the world has come to annihilation better than the warriors who served America during the tense, 45-year struggle known as the Cold War. Yet for decades, their work has remained shrouded in secrecy.

Staccato like reading performance…
Revisado: 01-18-23
Staccato like reading performance is becoming increasingly annoying and makes it hard to follow the story.
The book is well written with lots of interesting stories, but some of those stories are getting too technical and long winded which caused me to lose interest.

Heinz Knoke was one of the outstanding German fighter pilots of the Second World War. This vivid firsthand record of his experiences has become a classic among aviation memoirs and is a fascinating counterbalance to the numerous accounts written by Allied pilots.

Good book, poorly read
Revisado: 07-04-22
The book is good and captivating.
The biggest drawback is the “German” accent of the American voice actor. It makes it hard to take the book serious and is quite awful to listen to.
If this was a German narrator and this was his natural accent, I could deal with that. But reading this book making it sound like a German is ridiculous!

Historia
Dr. Stranges authored several books on scientific and religious subjects, including his classic The Stranger at the Pentagon, which tells the unusual story of a spaceman named Valiant Thor. Because Thor was a real person who appeared in a public on a few occasions (including at the UN headquarters in New York City), the legend of the Stranger at the Pentagon has grown, becoming a real head-scratcher for 21st-century UFO researchers. What exactly happened to Valiant Thor? Could Valiant Thor still be alive today, in 2018, somewhere in - or under - our nation's Capitol?

Evangelical Propaganda!
Revisado: 02-10-21
This book does not at all cover objectively what are supposed to be real events in history. It is constantly pestering you with religious beliefs and trying to convince you that your soul is lost if you don’t worship “god”. There are a plethora of other authors that cover religious beliefs and tales from the Bible in a non-infuriating way and objectively in relation to the possibility of extra terrestrials and alien encounters. The author calls himself a scientist, but comes across as missionary trying to convince you to worship Jesus Christ and “god”. Was infuriating and painful to listen to. Don’t waste your money or credits on this if you’re looking for an objective recount of historical events.
