Ohhhh the twists and turns!

This book was so dark…and so messed up. I have never loved being so repulsed by a character in a story as much as this one. This was everything I love in a psychological thriller/crime thriller, and more. This is worth the listen. I found myself dissecting all kinds of tidbits from it after finishing it. So good!

Very hard to follow

I had to start and stop this book so many times because I couldn’t keep up with who was doing what. I very rarely just refuse to finish a book, but I couldn’t waste anymore time with this one. It’s redundant and there are too many names and storylines that are never really fully built, that it stumbles over itself. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for this book…

Absolutely loved this CH book! I’m not big on love stories, but this was just enough criminal/psych thriller to keep me hanging on every word. A little bit predictable, but still a lot of twists and turns, and maybe a little far fetched but not so much that I was rolling my eyes.

Usually l love Lisa Gardner’s books, and anything with Tessa and DD Warren. I had high hopes for this one because I loved the first two in the series, but Tessa didn’t play as much of a role in this story. It was redundant and kind of drug out unnecessarily. Not on the same level as the first two in the series and I didn’t like the male narrator at ALL. The Kadence of his voice was awkward and didn’t allow me to focus on the story because it was so distracting.
