Historia
Nick Caine is a part-time archaeologist and full-time antiquities thief - a looter. And a very good one, too. Now stranded on a small, forgotten island in the southern Maldives, Nick Caine and his ever-faithful sidekick Ishi are thrown into a desperate fight for survival. Seemingly betrayed by Marie Da Vinci, Nick is forced to gamble his and Ishi's very existence on an ancient map. The parchment document promises an incredible horde of hidden pirate treasure.

Where does Treasure of the Deep rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Near the top of the list
What other book might you compare Treasure of the Deep to and why?
Other nick cane books, quartermaine, Indiana jones, etc
Any additional comments?
I have enjoyed both books in the series (same author, narrator, and characters). They are light fun romps through adventures.

If you could sum up No Laughing Matter in three words, what would they be?
Dark, Noir, Fantasy
What was one of the most memorable moments of No Laughing Matter?
There is a Great scene with a little kid helping the detective.
Have you listened to any of Charles Graydon Schlichter III’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. This is one of the ones I like the best so far, along with Temple of the Jaguar.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Very much so - I wanted to know what happened.
Any additional comments?
This is a great story, but it IS dark, and you need to go in knowing that.

Thoroughly Enjoyed
Revisado: 06-15-12
What did you love best about In Their Blood?
I have to say the narrator - he has the perfect voice for this type of project.
What other book might you compare In Their Blood to and why?
I admit I haven't read or listened to enough mystery/suspense novels to find a good comparison.
Have you listened to any of Charles G. Schlichter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I don't Think he has other audiobooks up, but I will now search to see if he does.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
How do you find your parents killer when everyone is suspect?
Any additional comments?
While I did say I liked the narrator's performance best about the book, I will say that the book itself was quite enjoyable and I really did like how it opened and how it kept you guessing.
