A merging of two fields Manufacturing and IT.
Revisado: 04-15-16
Would you listen to The Phoenix Project again? Why?
Yes, I would. It's an enthralling story filled nuggets of wisdom.
Any additional comments?
This is a great book that takes tested principles from manufacturing and applies them to IT. Any organization that can apply just one of the principles will be a leg up on the competition. I've been in the business for 20 years. Each development shop, I've worked in has been chaos. This book lays the foundation of how it can change. It's my hope that this book will be required reading for all business people.

Great story, but narrator ruins it for me

The narratoration is mediocre
Revisado: 12-19-12
The story is ok, the abridged version jumps around a bit. The unabridged version might be better.
The narrator is mediocre. He does not pronounce names correctly. At times he speaks almost too fast to understand him, other times he's on the verge of slurring his words. Some dialog is said with the wrong personality and character which comes across as odd.
The overall quality of the narration is marginal. Getting past the above mentioned issues, the book is understandable and is easy to follow.

A deep book
Revisado: 04-15-07
At first I was like "huh"? After listening to it a few times, it's made sense. He's assuming your level of understanding of the world is similar to his.
Once I figured out his assumptions, the book was easier to digest. If you don't have time to put into listening and thinking deeply about what he is saying, then move on.
If you found this material interesting you should look at David DeAngleo and/or Hypnotica.
