I’ve been to Amsterdam a few times and wish I’d had read this book before I went. There were so many great ideas of places to go and see, restaurants, bars, shops and activities! The author seems to really know a lot about the city and her enthusiasm was contagious. One struggle I had was the voice of the narrator. It sounded almost robotic, so took away some of the enjoyment of listening to this book. However, I could understand everything that was said, which is the important thing. I highly recommend this book if you’re going to Amsterdam!

Helped me understand my family member’s ADHD

Wow, I found this so very helpful. I even did some of the activities myself even though I don’t believe I have ADHD. They are super helpful for getting organized, living more in the moment, self acceptance and being mindful. I did see my ADHD child struggle with self acceptance, as well as acceptance from peers, This book helped me understand why. This was a great listen and very informative. The narrator read a little too quickly, but I could understand him most of the time. Highly recommend!

Kids learn to identify and control negative feelings including frustration, excitement, rage, and embarrassment through CBT exercises. This is a huge step in the right direction for these children's mental health since it will help them learn how to deal with adversity in the future.

Very helpful for kids!

The exercises were well explained, with great examples and a simple set of questions for kids. I also especially liked the introduction and the first chapter. It conclusion also was helpful to wrap up and explain what we have learned I believe this can be very helpful. The narration could’ve been clearer however. There were too many times where he spoke too quickly, and I had to go back to understand what he was saying. But all in all this I believe this to be a great tool for parents, teachers, and children.

Fascinating!

This was a very interesting book, unlike any hybrid before. I learned so much about Middle East, customs, food, and their way of life. There were exciting parts and even some funny parts. I really Enjoyed the relationship between Magnus and Finn and the way the author had them follow Lawrence of Arabia’s rambles. As i said, I found this book fascinating, interesting, and informative. I also enjoyed the narrator voice, made it even more authentic. I highly recommend this book!
