should be unabridged-ish
Revisado: 09-12-22
First love the series and the narrator.
Regarding the chat room debate: I agree it can be painful to listen to repetitive twitter usernames and I found myself just zoning out. Here is where I think there is room for light abridgement to enhance the audio format (it could even be offered both ways)
Regarding the story (mild spoilers)
I understand that once two people get together it removes tension, but at some point we just need a resolution.
I feel like the whodunnit part was less well developed than prior books, fewer breadcrumbs for the reader to follow to the killer. It was interesting for sure, but right up to the end it could literally have been any of the suspects.

Hands down, Dr. Becky is EVERYTHING!
Revisado: 04-29-21
“Parenting is so easy!” said no one ever... and PS, there is no handbook... until now. Dr. Becky is my go to source for parenting techniques and I swear by her golden nuggets of practical and realistic advice. I even catch my own “self talk” shifting from a place of shame and blame to curiosity and nurturing. She is a total family game changer. I am a huge HUGE fan and highly recommend this podcast, her IG, workshop and anything else! Thank you for including us in your journey, Dr. Becky! You are such an inspiration!

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Great read

I like a book that will keep my attention from start to finish and that's exactly what this book did. The characters were multidimensional and the storyline was thought provoking.

Quick ending
Revisado: 03-10-15
I really enjoyed the language and quirky style of this book! The ending was quick and I had to re-read it to understand what had happened. Overall it was a pleasant read and feel good book. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something interesting and different.

Historia
A high-profile attorney in the middle of a leave of absence following a personal tragedy is drawn back into the legal arena amidst a media firestorm when he agrees to represent a popular rap artist accused of brutally murdering his pop star girlfriend. With its powerful voice, pause-resisting tension, and strong cast of characters, Adam Mitzner’s novels are reminiscent of such best-selling authors as Scott Turow and John Grisham.

A little sappy for my tastes...
Revisado: 06-27-13
Would you consider the audio edition of A Case of Redemption to be better than the print version?
No
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, the twists, while not totally out of left field, were interesting throughout.
Did Kevin T. Collins do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes, I have no fault with that aspect of his recordings.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
The narrator, while obviously a talented voice, inflects so much emotion, so often, that I was actually uncomfortable at times. The quavering voice routine every time he waxed on about his feelings made the protagonist somewhat unrelatable to me. The same words, read in a different style, could demonstrate true, masculine emotion and not the romance novel fluff those sections became. I cannot say for certain whether the flowery style was the choice of the narrator or the director, but it did make me wish I had a paper version instead.
