I’m late to the party as usual. This book has been in my TBR pile since it first released. TJ Klune’s imagination is a marvelous gift and it shines brightly in this novel. Highly recommended.

Emotional and thought-provoking.
Revisado: 12-10-23
Like the other two titles in this series, A Scarcity of Condors is deeply emotional and thought-provoking. Impecably researched, Suanne Laqueur has given us a tiny glimpse of the unspeakable horrors that occurred under Pinohet's rule. Brought to life by the wonderful narrators, we step into the tragic tale of two familes that are deeply intertwined without any prior knowlege. I enjoyed this audiobook as much, if not more, than the book I read when it first released. Highly recommended!

Revisado: 07-10-23
I love this universe created by one of my favorite authors. From the first encounter at a gay club, Lucien and Jay's journey of discovery was riddled with challenges. I laughed and cried along with these complex men who were brought to life by the excellent narrator. I hope book 2 in the series will be available soon. Highly recommended!

All the stars!
Revisado: 07-07-23
I read this book when it first released and have been waiting anxiously for the audiobook. I am thrilled with the finished product. The narrator did an excellent job bringing all these great characters to life. This story is complex and important with more layers than you can imagine. The difficult subject matter was handled beautifully by the author who is a master storyteller. I can't say enough good things about the entire Venery series, and this book in particular. Well worth the credit! .

Ms Harmon is an auto buy author for me. I’ve read or listened to a wide range of stories by her and enjoyed most of them. A Girl Called Samson is a remarkable story about an unforgettable character. The narration was excellent. Highly recommend !

I read the book when it first came out and was blown away. When I saw it release in audiobook I didn't hesitate. Well worth the credit. This is a wonderful, intelligent, heartwarming and layered story ooozing with heart. Unforgettable characters brought to life by the excellent narrators. I hope the second book is already in the works. Highly recommend the entire series.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

A painfully honest account of his life to date. Beautifully narrated by the prince. His mother would be so happy to see that he finally found the peace and happiness that eluded her after she stepped into her role as princess.

Outstanding!
Revisado: 08-14-21
This was a 15 star read! An epic romance spanning decades set in the aftermath of the September 11 attack in New York City. The research involved was phenomenal. John Solo, the narrator, did an incredible job. There were multiple characters speaking a variety of languages and he nailed it! 25 hrs and 55 mins of intense world building that sucked you in until the very last chapter. Highly recommended!

A quiet place to live and some time to recharge before my band heads out on the road again sounds amazing. I wouldn’t mind a distraction, too, but my new neighbor is off-limits. There are rules about not getting involved with your bandmate’s ex, right? And Sean isn’t my type anyway. He’s too bossy, too commanding, and he has way too much baggage. I’ve learned that it’s best to let go of the heavy stuff. So why am I so drawn to him?

Revisado: 05-15-21
I really enjoyed the final book in the series featuring an older MC who falls for a younger musician/rock star. Trying to make it all fit into a complicated family dynamic is one of Lane's specialties. Lots of feel good moments in this one. Highly recommended! .
