Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Reasonable and straightforward account
Revisado: 01-17-23
Being born a royal still makes you human. This is the story of a normal human being born into unusual circumstances and his very valid reactions to said journey. Don't listen to the press. Listen to this book's more honest account of events.

Historia
Instagram Influencer Secrets is NOT going to tell you to purchase a following, or to use silly scam accounts to gain bot followers. Why? Because none of those will actually make you a real influencer, especially one who is going to be making money. An Influencer is a title you need to achieve. You need to earn that title, because that's when you know your audience believes in you, and whatever you have to say, they will listen.

Historia
Martin A. Lee traces the dramatic social history of marijuana, from its origins to its emergence in the 1960s as a defining force in a culture war that has never ceased. Lee describes how the illicit marijuana subculture overcame government opposition and morphed into a dynamic, multibillion-dollar industry. Colorful, illuminating, and at times irreverent, this is a fascinating listen for recreational users and patients, students and doctors, musicians and accountants, Baby Boomers and their kids, and anyone who has ever wondered about the secret life of this ubiquitous herb.

Felt like one-sided propaganda.
Revisado: 03-06-19
This book preaches one-sidedly and doesn't seem to take an even-handed approach. It literally rambled on like my homeless weed-headed brother. Weed can do no wrong according to this book.

Historia
Approximately 200,000 years ago, as modern humans began to radiate out from their evolutionary birthplace in Africa, Neanderthals were already thriving in Europe - descendants of a much earlier migration of the African genus Homo. But when modern humans eventually made their way to Europe 45,000 years ago, Neanderthals suddenly vanished.

WASPs finally get their due in this stimulating history by one of the world's leading geneticists. Saxons, Vikings, and Celts is the most illuminating book yet to be written about the genetic history of Britain and Ireland. Through a systematic, ten-year DNA survey of more than 10,000 volunteers, Bryan Sykes has traced the true genetic makeup of British Islanders and their descendants.

Historia
In recent years, the common perception of the Neanderthals has been transformed, thanks to new discoveries and paradigm-shattering scientific innovations. It turns out that the Neanderthals' behavior was surprisingly modern: they buried the dead, cared for the sick, hunted large animals in their prime, harvested seafood, and communicated with spoken language. Meanwhile, advances in DNA technologies are compelling us to reassess the Neanderthals' place in our own past.

Historia
Thomas Cahill tells the story of how Europe evolved from the classical age of Rome to the medieval era. Without Ireland, the transition could not have taken place. Not only did Irish monks and scribes maintain the very record of Western civilization, they brought their uniquely Irish world-view to the task. As Cahill delightfully illustrates, so much of the liveliness we associate with medieval culture has its roots in Ireland. When the seeds of culture were replanted on the European continent, it was from Ireland that they were germinated.

Revisado: 04-18-03
Excellent book. Very complete and with a basic understanding of genentics, I feel like it easily brings me up to an above average understanding. I am taking an anthropology course in human genetics and this fits right in.
