Historia
The Tao of Seneca (volumes 1-3) is an introduction to Stoic philosophy through the words of Seneca. If you study Seneca, you'll be in good company. He was popular with the educated elite of the Greco-Roman Empire, but Thomas Jefferson also had Seneca on his bedside table. Thought leaders in Silicon Valley tout the benefits of Stoicism, and NFL management, coaches, and players alike - from teams such as the Patriots and Seahawks - have embraced it.

I think I'd rather just read it
Revisado: 06-17-18
I'm a big Tim Ferriss fan, and I was excited to check out his production of Seneca. I listened to about two letters before I switched to another audiobook. I'm not a fan of the performance. Sadly, I can't give that part high marks, but the content--even from just the first two letters--is awesome. I will just have to accept that I wasted a credit on this one and get the real book.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Eye-opening, helpful perspective
Revisado: 06-29-17
Just what I needed. Went by really fast, but that invites me to listen again!
Would recommend to anyone who is "too considerate." If you find yourself caring too much about what others think of you (like me), or if you have problems living your own life (because, like me, you've been subjecting yourself to others' values), sit down and have a listen.
Overall, this is a great look into defining YOUR values and gaining a perspective on your own existence. Good luck!
