Historia
Many years ago, Sir Aelfric and his nine companions saved the world, seizing the Dark Lord's cursed weapons, along with his dread city of Necrad. That was the easy part. Now, when Aelfric—keeper of the cursed sword Spellbreaker—learns of a new and terrifying threat, he seeks the nine heroes once again. But they are wandering adventurers no longer. Yesterday's eager heroes are today's weary leaders—and some have turned to the darkness, becoming monsters themselves. If there's one thing Aelfric knows, it's slaying monsters. Even if they used to be his friends.

Riveting and unique
Revisado: 05-30-23
Like others have mentioned there’s some pacing issues. But those are more than made up for with the incredible world building and exciting plot.

Not at all how I expected Eskara’s series to come to an end, and that is not a bad thing. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time

Historia
The rot eats away at mortals. The Witnesses pray so that they may not turn into one of the forgotten. And the constricting mists infect the lands with fear. But there is more to this tale than just the Elders and their Seeds. Four mortals will have a part to play in Minethria’s fate. A farmer girl with only love in her eyes. A warrior born to the life of a refugee. A highborn stuck between the realm of gods and men. And a woman running into front lines and away from home.

Flawed prose and pacing, but performed to perfection
Revisado: 02-26-23
I was very excited for this book. Credit must be given where it is due: Kian N. Ardalan marketed this novel incredibly well. The Eleventh Cycle would have definitely benefited from several more rounds of editing. The first half of the story felt like it dragged while the second half rushed to the climax at a breakneck pace. Word choices were inconsistent ay times, and character choices felt contrived at important crossroads. With that said the major errors to be found with this story is a consistent flaw with independently published works, and that will not keep me away from reading Eleventh Cycle’s sequels and other independently published novels.

Historia
The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

Bad start to a gruesome, darkly awesome finish!
Revisado: 04-22-16
The book starts as a mediocre Hunger Games knock-off with an Irish whining twist. Half-way through it evolves, as a butterfly, into a brutal story of kids murdering and maiming kids and how they adjust to it. With old-timey Roman/Grecan pantheon references thrown in. It's great! But not for your kids
